Jibanjyoti Welfare Association for Mentally and Physically Handicapped,Jyotinagar,Gobindpur,Dhenkanal- 759027 established Jibanjyoti College of Special Education to create human resources in the field of Special and inclusive education during the year 2018-19. The College has been running D.Ed. SE (MR/ID), B.Ed. SE (MR/ID) with approval of Rehabilitation Council of India, a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, and recognized by the Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department, Government of Odisha. The B.Ed.Spl.Edn(ID) Course is recognized by the Higher Education Department, Govt. of Odisha and affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.
